Ah caray, ¿dejaron a la princesa en el caldero? ¿ni siquiera Elliot se ofrecio a sacarla y cargarla? tsss…

¡Pero nomás esperen a que lleguemos a la casa, digo, al castillo!…

A good lesson for a lot of people. And all’s well that ends well!

Also, is it just better to drag that cauldron or what?

Keeps her at a “safe” distance from hearing her complaints.

A bad lesson. I regularly tangle with people who would call me vicious, vile slurs, to the point that it doesn’t bother me any more. That doesn’t make the words less hurtful, doesn’t take away their history of being used against people like me, accompanied by physical violence or even murder. It doesn’t make people who ARE bothered by them rather than shrugging them off wrong.

It was never expressed that this story will radically change the views about the power of words to the whole world. In it’s own microuniverse, the character learned her lesson, saw the consecuences of getting distracted away from the battle for what personally bothered her. And if it reaches outside to someone in the audience (like it did) maybe, little by little, with more positive examples instead of negative, that change over time will happen.

Alright then, that’s a lot better than what I ended up reading in the story.

When I came to this webcomic, I was just expecting a silly medieval comic, but there’s been 2 story arcs and at least 2 comics that made me seriously think about The Internet and society. As I have felt like heavily complaining on large and small issues, I will try to curb those urges, or at least, point out that it’s MY opinion.

On another note, I have been loving the comic and all the little details and extras in it (I noticed the yellow on The Wandering Knight’s helmet shape-shifts during Hunting Season). I love the amount of heart you put into your work.

I wish more people would go that route. Ranting and complaining is fine, but people should have more the humility to at least make it clear it is their opinion and not trying to pass it as facts.
I try do examine those issues in the comic every now or then, I think it being a medieval themed story, gives me a better range to exaggerate those subjects and make fun of them (like in this one, the use of language).

I appreciate your words very much. Sorry it took me this long to get back to you, I’ve been quite busy as of lately.
      Thank you very much!
